Nelson Bay Tea Gardens Ferry - Servicing the Port Stephens and Myall Coast community for over 25 years, Tea Gardens Ferry Service aim is to restore the iconic vessels to their heritage glory. Vessels our community can take pride in and ensure these historic ferries are available to enjoy for generations to come. Take this relaxing 1 hour ferry ride to Nelson Bay. Over 90% of trips enjoy a view of Nelson Bays dolphins.

TEA GARDENS HOTEL
One of our regular haunts that is an icon of Tea Gardens. With several bars, including the lounge looking over the Myall River and a range of wines, standard and craft beers, its a favourite with aBoathouse Resort guests. Highly recommend the pizza coming from their own woodfired oven. Try taking your greoup on a Thursday night and play Trivia for a fun time led by publican Ben.
TILLERMANS RESTAURANT
Dine at an award-winning restaurant on the shores of the beautiful Myall River. On the weekends start the day with a hearty breakfast (or a healthy one); enjoy rich aromatic coffee and home made scones with locally made jams. Evening meals are always a memorable experience at Tillermans restaurant, where the menu is driven by fresh local and seasonal produce.

Artisan baking and the absolute best pies north of Sydney. Don't miss out on these tasty delights. Ideal for your lunch or breakfast items. Buy up for your road trip to the national park or 4WD trip along the beaches. Short walk to the bakery on Myall Drive.
WHALE WATCHING
Come May and the giants of the sea start passing through the waters off Hawks Nest and some even enter Nelson Bay for a curious look. If you have not seen whales up close here's your chance - they are in abuncance from May to September. Take a ride with our partner Moonshadow Cruises.
